About the design

Salto Alto is a modular display font. It is constructed with a rigid modular system composed of vertical, horizontal, 45 degree strokes and rounded joints. iIt is a stylish techno font, and it's name "Salto alto" is the portuguese for "high heel", chosen has a kind of parody to the myriads of fashionable and frivolous modular typefaces including this one. It's weights were labeled with the numbers 36, 38 and 40, witch are the normal shoe sizes (portuguese sizes) of a thin or small woman, an average one, and a taller or larger one.
